Honduras (in Spanish: República de Honduras) is a republic in Central America, bordered to the north of the Caribbean Sea, and the north-west the State of Guatemala, El Salvador and the south-west, and Ganubnikarajua and the Pacific. Honduras, one of Central American countries, Spain occupied it in 908 E - 1502 and stayed the Spanish occupation all well until the year 1254 E - 1838 and then gained independence. Named after an old Spanish Honduras to differentiate between them and the British Honduras, which is currently called the Belize
